Online education, work from home; have we arrived in virtual world

 

The concept of virtualization of offices or schools is not a new trend. Many companies allow their employees to work from home. Also, we have many online training institutes. There are also many online certifications that can be done, without commuting to different locations.

Just as a coin has a head and tail this also have advantages and disadvantages

Advantages

1. Infrastructure benefits: as everything goes online, usage of school and college buildings went down

2. Decrease in pollution: as travelling got declined the quality of air got increased

3. No restrictions: everyone can do their work in their comfort zones

4. Benefits of Virtualization: apart from being far everyone is connected through online and education in schools and colleges and work in offices are done and sent through this platform

5. Less wastage of time: travelling eats lots of time in this case we are able to use this time for other things

Disadvantages

1.      Difficult to monitor: generally, in the case of students as don’t pay proper attention it’s difficult to analyze their performance

2.      Absence of Environment: In school and office by meeting friends and colleagues we get interest but in house it won’t happen

3.      Technical issues: children in remote villages may not have all facilities and sometimes due to climate change there may be weak connection of network

4.      No activeness in children: In schools children play, interact with each other but they are becoming lazy with mobile in hands around.

5.      Less interest in studies: some students due to no monetarization their performance goes down

Conclusion

1.      Students need to think creatively.

2.      Parents and family can change the environment of student if possible

3.      Using technology only for research and study purpose

4.      As it gives bad impact on eyes only required usage of mobile

5       May be some remote villages may be left behind but most of the world is connected through internet and as time runs there may be access too

I finally conclude that we are about to arrive virtual world but in next few years we may be a part in virtual world
